Puppy Mentorship Program
Ages: 8 weeks to 18 months
Structure: 4 weekly sessions, then 15 monthly support sessions
We begin with weekly sessions to establish the foundations, then move into monthly check-
ins to continue building skills, troubleshooting new behaviours, and supporting your puppy
through key developmental stages.
Training Includes:
- Toilet training, crate training, and settling at home
- Biting, mouthing, jumping, and general puppy manners
- Name response, sit, drop, stay, recall, and lead foundations
- Loose leash walking and engagement around distractions
- Structured heel walking
- Confidence-building with new people, places, sounds, surfaces, and environments
- Safe and appropriate socialisation with people and dogs
- Calm behaviour around visitors, other dogs, food, toys, and daily routines
- Handling, grooming preparation, vet visit preparation, and cooperative care
- Managing adolescent behaviours such as selective listening, overexcitement, pulling, and testing boundaries
- Building independence, resilience, and the ability to settle when needed
The goal of this program is to help your puppy grow into a confident, well-mannered, and emotionally balanced dog. We focus on practical skills that work in real life, both at home and when out and about.
